Long Distance Relationship....

Ok ok..this is not a repost...more of a refining the post...since the time i type the older one i was half asleep...hehehe

In a LDR one doesnt see the other in daily life. Similarly with God we dont see Him. In a LDR, we do our best to keep each other in touch thru various ways, with God, we have our prayer and bible=) Like every other BGR there is love to make things work, we hav GOD's love!!!

People always say LDR is always a dangerous thing. Dangerous as in most probably will not work out. Y will not work out?? Not being with one another then feeling just die then leads to cheating on each other or doing it the right way which is break up and go for the person who has been real nice that gave u the feel. Then why does the feeling just go away?? I dun know...coz i've not been in one=P...

Like i say our relationship with God is similar. But what makes it work is God's love. Everyday when we spend time with Him thru reading the bible, quiet time, prayer we grow closer to Him. We still dont see Him, but we know He is there for us. Simple prayer like peace and we felt it. Somethings we need comforting and there He is for us. We know He is always there for us...but how often are there?? i mean how often besides when we are sick, down or anything that just makes us feel bad, miserable that we are with Him?? Often we only come to Him so we can feel better....so how about the feel good times??? Forget about Him?? Let Him out of the picture?? When in fact He is in it just that we dont see it.

When we love someone, when we are not with them, and where we go is just nice and beautiful, or enjoyable, something that brings joy with us, naturally we would think, i want to be here with her/him. How often do we think about God that way?? How often do we go to places and just say i wan to be with You here, or just thank Him for having that place made?? How can we say we love Him when everyday of our life the roles we allow Him to play for us is just somebody that is so insignificant?? If we love Him, everything we do, somehow He will come across our mind, just like how u would think of ur bf/gf. Coz our relationship with Him is just not because He saves u, but He is our God, Father, Friend and Provider.
