UCC Camp 2010 - IN THE ZONE...
Yo people!! as i've mention in the previous post, i went for UCC camp 2010 over the weekend. Be warned that it will be a long post!! So this year's theme was "In The Zone". What zone?! well in GOD's zone who else?! Practically is how to be in tune with the Holy Spirit!!
The sessions was great, there was some word shared but most of the time we were actually doing more practical stuff and learning how to be listening to God and so on. But at the same time is getting to know each other. I'll just share some of the pracs we did....
the first one was someone would stand in front of the rest and the rest would throw out 1 word description of characteristics just by looking...the point is to see the person as how God would see that person (to do that is kinda long to explain here...so i'll just skip the explanation =P) And then some discussion/feedback from the person standing out there.
Another one we did was pair up, then pray to God and ask God how/what would He like to say to the partner. And then jot it down, then pray and the proclaim about it. After doing so then share it with partner and get feedback and so on.
And there is this so call speed dating activity we did. Haha...is like there is 2 lines of people (equal people), then one line would pray to God asking for pictures/words/verse or anything to tell the other line of person. And then later on share to the person and get feedback this whole process is about roughly 3mins and then the same thing is done again but this time the person who receive first then pray for the person who initially pray. So meaning after 6 mins, switching in 1 of the line. Then there is this one time where we switch partners without seeing where we are switch with. Which was a very good cause in the end all we see is that the Holy Spirit working and we shared things that is relevant to the person shared with!!
I've gained alot from this camp, maybe not as much as others, but it has been a refreshing and great camp. And i also know how people see me just by looking at me(1st activity) i'll shall write what people think of me...
1) Laid Back (well lots of people laugh at this..but there is another that make people laugh more)
2) Dependant (yes i do depend on people i'm not perfect and all capable!!...)
3) Dependable (...but that doesnt mean i cant be depend on)
4) Faithful
5) Supportive
6) Willing to help
7) Deliberate
8) Determined
9) Purposeful
10) Growing
11) Responsible
And there is another word that was from the speaker's team (this is the word that make people laugh more!! wont share the whole situation at that time but what is being shared), that word was 'truck'. here is what is shared about that word: "I see you like a truck - a truck with a tray like a dump truck but it is not a dump truck. Just like this truck, you have an ability to travel long distances and to carry His(GOD's) presence and to give it away. You also have a great ability to journey along side others and to help carry them, help carry the load but then also to let go of the load when you need to" I guess that practically sums me up i think...haha...about carrying God's presence i'm not so sure, mayb i have been doing it jsut i dont realise it. But to journey with others that is what i like, i just care and just get people to share abt thier life and just go thru with them one way or another.
Another thing that has touched me during the camp that God reaffirms me of His love towards me that i'm His precious son. That meant alot for me as i come from a broken family, and that has touched me and make me cry when i was being prayed for. And also just motivate me to have a deeper relationship with God.
My experience in this camp is just too much to share it here with just words, all i can say it was amazing!! And Sarah experience a new level of relationship with God that is how great the camp has been, and many has been touched. All i can say was we were "In The Zone"

Over the Weekend...
Hey people, just a quick post on wat has been going on over the past week. UCC had a camp over the weekend so i was there. It was at Forest Edge...i didnt really took pictures there as it was raining most of the time...but had a great time and it was very, VERY VERY GOOD camp!!! I mean this is like the first camp i've been that has more ministry/practical time than the pure word itself. Anyway will share more in another post. Came back on Sunday afternoon and didnt even go back home till 3am monday...so right now i'm actually kinda tired but at the same time need to get this done before i get too lazy and cant be bothered updating here....and since i've been disconnected from the world for the past 3 days(literally since there was no connection for the mobile) the moment i check my emails and other usual stuff i do when i'm online...i spent hours clearing all those and i've yet to log on to facebook...but i will soon enuf after i prepare some posts for my all important readers *yay!!*

How Important to You...
Hey everyone....ermmm i'm still trying to figure the skin out so give me more time. I'm gonna talk abt how important can a person be to you. Whether is it a family member or love one or a friend each have thier important level to each of us...or mayb you can say it is the priorities among them. But i guess how important is more accurate cause is not about who comes first second or third...but rather is about how you will act when it comes to them...
personally all 3 are important to me. So important that when at situations where i think i'm right and yet nothing is being done to justify me that i feel uncomfortable and mad at times that i cant bear the thought of releasing my anger on them...i would jsut hold it all in me and just say it is ok and i look pass it. So important to me that even in the same situation that i know i've caused unease/unhappiness/uncomfortable feelings for them that i would just apologies and take on everything so they can feel better...
silly and stupid i know but that is who i am and i cant help it to be that way....

Freedom With a Price...
Hey peeps, my exams is over...FINALLY!!! oh well but i just hope i pass all my papers if not there is consequences...anyway, as you may have notice that my blog has change a little...i'm still trying to work things out..that is just a testing...so wait till i spend some more time to change it. Will update more soon!!
