Only 1...

Well i got his form Matthew 6:24, it says 'No one can serve two masters.Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.' Basically it means that if we love our money we will eventually neglect God.

Let put it this way, imagine u have a servant, and u r the master. Wat would u do when u find out ur servant has another master?? i bet you will be thinking whether ur servant can perform the duties. And to ensure that to be done u demand a full focus on ur housework only and thus the servant have to neglect another. Similarly, when we love our money, and since money is use to buy/ pay etc. We tend to look for more money, till it come to a point that money is like our life. And resulting we neglect God.

Well u may argue that without money how to survive?? Yeah is true without money we cant survive the daily expenditures. But when we turn money into the very reason that we are on this earth, then there is where u r wrong. We are created for God and not for money. besides we humans created money, so u wan to be a slave for money?? Now when we follow God, it is written that he will provide all our needs - Philippians 4:19 : And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. So when we follow God serve Him whole heartedly and do everything according to His word, He will provide us with everything we need.

Heroes....

No i'm not taking our personal heroes, i talking about the tv series. Well it has been years since i chase after a tv series. I like this show since the first season and currently waiting for the 3rd season to be out which seems very interesting. And i'm wondering when will it be out in Aussie. worst come to worst go back Msia watch pirate=P..haha. Well basically this show is about a bunch of norml people discover they have super abilities, like time travel, teleportation, stop time, super strength, super speed, mind reading, fly etc. So i find it nice and interesting!!

Prayer...

Wat is prayer to us?? To some it may be kneeling infront of an image of their god in their own religion and start praying asking for blessing and help with a repayment condition at the end. To some might be burning of offerings/ sacrifice. well there is so many religion in this world that all has its own way of praying. But for us Christians we too hav a habit of prayer. And the typical way we do it is by closing our eyes and head bow down to show our humbleness and pray to God. Well read Matthew 6:5-15 and Luke 11:2-4, this mainly about the Lord's prayer as we call it today but it lays the very foundation how our prayer should structure. But first i will touch on other point in the verse.

Matthew 6 verse5, it says '...do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men....' Well this doesn't mean we can not pray outside in the public but where as what is referring here is the motive of praying outside. If we are to pray outside to show people how 'holy or how good their prayer are or to show how prayer-ful they are' the motive there is wrong. We do our prayer is mainly for God to hear our prayers and be answer according to His time. And our prayer should be from our heart and we should be humble as i think we are asking form God. And in verse 6 it says we should go into our rooms and pray this to show that we are humble when praying, not to show off to people. I think it is base on this verse that today's Christians are taught to pray with thier eyes close and heads bowed. I also once heard that another reason y we close our eyes is so that we wont be distracted by the things around us. Since it is a prayer and it is for God, we should focus our hearts unto God.

Now the more important part is the prayer. In Matthew 6:9-13 the prayer goes

"Our father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one"

Now that was from Matthew in Luke it is similar but with a little different as Luke was a Physician by profession and the purpose of his writing the Gospel was for the high rank Romans at that time to read. But for me over the years in church i've been saying that prayer this way

"Our father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us of our sins,
as we forgive those who sins against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours,
now and forever, Amen."

Practically it has the same foundation as been laid by Jesus. As i mention earlier that this the very foundation how our prayer should structure as the prayer covers every point that we should everyday pray for. Look at first sentences of the prayer, when we pray we are acknowledging God as our Father. Then it goes on to say that we surrender everything to Him, 'Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven'. And follow on the prayer goes on to say 'Give us today our daily bread' which means that we are to be taught about His word everyday. And this prayer also consist of forgiveness, 'Forgive us of our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us'. This is not only asking for forgiveness but also to be taught to forgive others. 'Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil' And this is the part we ask for protection against the devil's work on us and to provide us with everything we need to prevent us from sinning. And the last line, 'For the kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours now and forever' it means that everything in this world is God's and we are laying it all into His hands.

Now u may say that wat is this the prayer that we are to pray everyday and cant pray about others??...yes we could pray for other things but then this prayer is useful for it covers most important things that we as Christians should grow on. Besides it is the prayer that is taught by our Lord Jesus!!

Grand opening....

...for public toilet!!!.. haha...thanks to Lilian for forwarding the mail. When i was reading and and later on find out that Back in Msia they had an grand opening for a high tech toilet in Bukit Bintang area. First of all of all places there...u c lar soon how dirty the toilet it will be. Then to the deputy PM is there to open the toilet...come on lar...do something more meaningful for the country please. As in bigger matters lar. Then according to the mail...the speech says that Msia heading to a new area starting from the toilet...so it either means that Msia had enuf money to dev high tech toilet...or...that Msian is not smart enuf to use toilet that needs a high tech toilet=P Well it is good too that they are trying to improve the quality of the public toilets ard KL(if u hav been in KL, is not easy to fins a nice clean, smell-less toilet) Just hope the users know hows to take care of it.

A diff lecture...

had an hour lecture today and it was done differently....coz it was done using a video, the lecturer said that she wan to do it differently and she ask us to watch a video and then we are to answer some questions, basically is own study lar for once is something different than wat i had back in Msia. Ms Ng...haha...mayb u could use this method...stop spoon feeding the students=P

once again....so u think u can dance??...

Finally for once i manange to watch a full whole episode of it and i was impressed by the contestans learning new dance within a week, i can only remember a few of the dance theme, they had foxtrot, Broadway, Argentine tango, disco, hip-hop, contemporary...adn 2 more..haha..dun remember. Well it is really nice they dance!!

Musical...

I've watched Mamma Mia!! And i enjoy the songs..haha...man, ABBA sure was good. I love the songs though in the movie they weren't the real singers of the original songs but the lyrics itself is good enuf. Another nice musical i find is Sweeny Todd played by Johnny Depp. That movie is nice, for a change that musical is dark not like most musical where everything seems so bright and shinny n happy. Anyway...as the title says it...a musical this movie was and talking about musical, the funny thing about musical is that out of the blue they will just sing the song even though it might just seem wierd for the situation. For an example..if u watch High School Musical 2....there is one part where troy ran out of the kitchen(if i remember it clearly..)and then i was thinking that he was going to talk to the manager or soemthing but end up running out to the fields to sing...haha. It just feel so not rite as though potong stim=P But then one thing i like about musical is the songs, when it comes to musical...story line is the second essence i feel where as the song and music will be the main essence. Witht the music fail to perform at its very best then the whole thing is just a mess. Anyway go watch Mamma Mia! it is a enjoyable movie=)

Plz grow up and think things rite....

man i hate it when guys linger on the problems. yes i might be in ur situations once but at least i learn to move on. I mean cmon man if things had happen between u guys then be a man and face it and dun linger on it and thinking ur world is just waiting to fall coz things doesnt work out between u and her. For goodness sake, she has feelings too u know...everyday u just come and say the same damm thing over n over n over n over again...c'mon u r an adult be more mature, consider and think things thru wat u r doing. Wat use is it gonna do when u gonna linger on the same problem over n over again??...it wont help at all. U r not sick of repeating the same thing over n over again but does it feels the same with her??...And u say u like her when u dun even try to understand how she feels?? and all u do is yak yak yak about the past. Oh another thing wat people post on the blog i think is their right to do so, whether it hurts u or not it is how u c it, mayb u should learn a few points in that was mention in there. Yeah and if gonna be pissed, be it on me....coz rite now i'm damm pissed when my frens gets it for no particular reason.

It hurts...

It hurts me when i c that u are in that situation and i cant be there for u. It hurts that all i can do for u is just words of encouragement when i know i can do so much more but cant. It hurts to c or even know u were about to cry. It hurts when wat i say doesnt really help u. I hurts when i can do so much yet so little. i hope i can be there for u...

Interesting i saw....

Well the first is...while i was waiting for bus to go back..i saw this pink car...and that oink car is exactly same car as Joanne's car...(Jlai i found a relative of ur frog car=P) It was speeding kinda fast so manage to get a blur shot of it...Then another time was walking in shopping mall..i saw this nice painting...wee....nice nice nice...i think is wholly paint...you hav to c the real thing to know how nice it is=)

Shoes...

yes finally my new shoes has arrived from Msia...well it has been more than a week it has arrived but only today i first wore it=)now for my old shoes has serve me faithfully for 2 yrs after a shoes of the same brand who serve me 1 month(kena curi T_T) and look how worn out it has been(pic above). Well if u r wondering when i got it since i'm ady here...i got it before i left Msia, and now only wearing it for the first time. Coz ..haha..i want this new shoes of my to first touch land after getting out of the land of no pork=P...nah is just that i think it should be worn here!! one thing though...i dun really like the colour...easily get dirty...but when it is a gift...hah...it is just worth it

Frustration...

After many attempts on online test....20 to be exact....the end result that i got for it is 13 out of 15...do you know frustrating is it to do that much time and just to get that results?? And is time wasting...i sat in front of the com for 5 hours plus...it is super frustrating in the end i just gave up on doing it. No wonder students go crazy in their course of study in uni...

well...to tell you the truth i dun think i can dance....haha...anyway back to the topic...i watch the show again yesterday nite but it was the elimination nite. So end up one couple have to go. I find it a least is diff than idol...where people vote to kick them off...for this people vote for lowest 3 couple then the couples will all perform individually...then the judges will kick them out...And from the individual performance...can really c the contestants really has talents!! Too bad they had to kick one guy n girl out...

Movies...

I need to watch movies!!!....T_T...i've not been doing my duty as a movie freak to watch movie=P Movie, movie, movie...me love movies=) But the tickets here in Aust is so exp...i wonder how much is the Imax here. if it is almost the same price i would rather watch the movie on Imax then normal cinema. I still remember watching Transformers on Imax back in KL which was amazing!!! havnt try any 3d movies yet though...
